Opinion, bias and fact checking – KS2
- This course will give KS2 children to skills to identify between fact and opinion.
- It will involve using different types of text as well as social media and how these texts can be fact checked.
- We will also look at different texts to examine them for bias, persuasion and ‘reading between the lines.

Elizabeth has many years teaching and management experience in Rochdale Primary schools. She was also a leading literacy teacher within the authority. Elizabeth then became a Teaching and Learning Consultant for Rochdale LEA. She is now an independent Teaching and Learning Consultant specialising in English CPD for KS1 and KS2 teachers.
