Gaming and gambling harm workshop
- These workshops are aimed at teachers working in KS2 - KS5.

On completion all delegates will receive a City & Guilds certificate and digital credential, plus full and free access to Ygam’s bank of resources, which includes a PSHE-linked scheme of work for each year group from KS2 upwards. There are also further information sessions available to those who complete our training – deep-dives into topics such as Cryptocurrency, Monetisation in games, LGBTQ+ gaming and gambling, Streaming, etc.
NB - Ygam’s training and resources are fully funded, so are all provided free of charge.

CLAIRE MORRIS TRAINING & ENGAGEMENT MANAGER: EDUCATION (NORTH WEST)
After graduating from the University of Manchester with a BSc (hons) in Management Sciences, Claire worked briefly in retail management, before a change of direction saw her return to college to qualify as a primary teacher. Since then she has always worked in education, having spent many years teaching in Staffordshire, South Wales and for the British Forces in Germany, before moving into delivering education within the charity sector. She joined Ygam in January 2022 and is now responsible for delivering training, both online and face to face, to professionals throughout the North West of England on safeguarding children and young people against gaming and gambling harm. In her spare time she is heavily involved with local amateur theatre and has played many roles on stage, her favourite of which is Nursie in Blackadder II: the Elizabethan Years.
