This course equips level 3 Elklan accredited practitioners (Speech and Language Support for 5-11s) to teach a speech and language course for parents or carers of primary school-aged children.

Additional Costs

There are additional costs associated with the course as practitioners will leave with the licence to deliver the programme for 12 months as well as the teaching manual, covering all the sessions they can deliver.

Income Generate

Once you are an Elklan Let’s Talk Tutor you are welcome to deliver Let's Talk with 5-11s. This can be done face to face or online. The licence allows you to use the qualification to income generate. You will have the option of charging parents for attending any Let’s Talk courses that you deliver. As the course can be delivered online, schools can also open up training for parents and carers anywhere in the world.

If you would like to book to attend, please be aware that you will be asked to provide the course code from the Speech and Language Support for 5-11s that you attended.

Alexis Doyle, Primary Advisory Speech and Language Therapist, Northern Care Alliance

Alexis is a Speech and Language Therapist in addition to being a qualified teacher and SENCo. She has worked with children with additional needs for over 20 years. Alexis is passionate about supporting Primary aged children (KS1 & 2) with speech, language and communication challenges in mainstream schools.
