Our regular School Breakfast Briefings provide a valuable opportunity for school leaders from all sectors—nursery, primary, secondary, and special—to stay informed and connected.
These sessions offer the latest updates on key activities within the school service, including OFSTED and DfE information, and give leaders a chance to engage directly with local authority officers and colleagues.
The briefings are designed to improve communication, transparency, and information sharing, while fostering networking opportunities.
Each session concludes with a Q&A, encouraging open dialogue and collaboration across the Rochdale education community.
This training will explore a working definition of dyslexia; identify some of the common difficulties experienced by CYP with dyslexia/ literacy difficulties and how these present at different stages.
It will then consider how to plan and apply a graduated approach for assessment and intervention for pupils with literacy/dyslexic difficulties.
